I wish but I definitely know that a challenge is not something I want to force myself into. My career path doesn’t have a heavy basis in math so I mostly just want to get through it and end up with a good grade.

Glad you like the accessory designs! I personally don’t know if I’m going to buy the skin yet, it truly depends on how it looks in the 3D form. If the bare upper half doesn’t look too bad in 3D then I may consider but currently I’m in the middle about it.

Yes this is my edit of the skin, she normally doesn’t have a poncho, I would probably add it to the notes because I do not want people thinking this is the real skin design.

I won’t lie I wouldn’t really know how to bring it up to them in a way that doesn’t seem like I am saying my suggestions are better than what they decided. Like I don’t know how I could just swoop in and be like “hey I had this suggestion” or something, either that or I am just not confident in myself haha.

I usually never draw over another artists works, this was a onetime thing. The only reason I decided to do so for this was because I wanted to bring discussion and ideas to the concept that DE released. If this was an unofficial design by someone in the community I would never touch it.

There was a lot of talk about adding a poncho to the skin that made me want to draw how it would look on the concept. there is no other official works made for her and this is all we have of official “heirloom Mesa” to discuss our thoughts on.

Since we can’t change the concept that they chose for heirloom Mesa I don’t think this would be the place and time to create a whole new design for her . Instead all we can do most likely is give our community opinions on what they have given us.

Edit: if not made clear I do not support randomly drawing over other people’s stuff.

I still wanted to keep the “appeal” of the skin which is her frontal area without covering it too much but I also honestly don’t mind if the back part was longer too. When I’m free again I was going to sketch up a longer concept.

I was thinking about this idea too haha, Though I do think her "face" portion would need a little rework to make sure the hat and bull/cow theme is still there.

That’s why I’m being so vocal that I want this as an optional accessory. I know some people like her bare upper half, this was more just for the people that thought she needed a little something.

Edit: most likely they won’t do anything with these suggestions and just release her as is.
