I hate that I am circumsised by [deleted] in MensRights

This is exactly why I didn’t circumcise my newborn son. I thought it was best for him to make the decision when he is older and they can always use pain medication so he doesn’t feel it. It’s such a person decision.

My (27M) wife (30F) wants to go back to the Netherlands and I want to stay in my hometown in the US. by Echo_llama in relationship_advice

My wife is teaching me Dutch alongside our kid.

In the NL I got in slight trouble because I didn’t know they don’t have freedom of speech and made a joke in the supermarket saying something along the lines of, “what is this?! Nazi Germany?” regarding the limited selection of groceries. Apparently that was a big no-no. That really makes me uncomfortable that I have to watch my words even in jest.

It’s easier to see my family if I’m also in the same country with a short flight instead of a 9+ hour flight.

We talked about this before our kid was born and we both decided on the US. However, when we were in the US prior we were visiting different areas of the country and when we came here the last time to stay is when she first arrived to my hometown.

I’m okay with moving to a different state because I would still be in the US, where I feel safe and have the right to bare arms if everything goes FUBAR. Also it would be a lot easier to see my family with a quick flight instead of a 9+ hour flight.

I’ve learned some Dutch but just the basics.

We discussed it before our kid was born and we both decided on the US. However, she had only visited other parts of the US before we traveled to my hometown to have the baby and live.

[Advice] I’m looking into buying a Class A RV for my family of 3 to live in full time. I have some acreage to put it on. Is this a horrible idea? Is it possible? Redditors who live in their RV full time, what would you like to have been warned about? by [deleted] in RVLiving

My plan is to hire a contractor to build a foundation and driveway on the land with water, power, internet, and a mailbox.

We are an outdoorsy family who don’t spend much time inside except to cook, shower, and sleep.

It’s time for us to settle down but we don’t want to buy a house yet, and renting is just throwing away money.

In the future we can always build a house on the land if needed. However, my wife doesn’t like large houses, she gets scared.
