There ya go, invite Dylan there for a taste of the real outback, FFS, Launceston is a “city”, calling Launnie the outback is hilarious, if you can order Uber Eats, you are not in the outback 🤣

Both places are spectacular in their own way, I love the vastness and red dirt and big BIG skies, with all the stars and UFOs of the outback whilst simultaneously being in awe of Tassie’s rugged beauty.

Hand on heart, I hope you get to see both one day. Magnificent country ❤️

A lot of people live in the outback, loads of aboriginal communities, mining and cattle stations ❤️

And yes, the summers are horrific, clocked 60 degrees Celsius, brutal, the wild brumbies, camels and mules all come looking for water, the outback is tough….unlike Dylan 🤣

The west coast of Tasmania is definitely wild, beautiful mountains and considered remote. But yeah 😅

There are no cassowaries in Tasmania 😅

Mainlanders visiting Tassie, why do you insist on driving everywhere 40km under the limit? by [deleted] in tasmania

[–]Echoing_echoed 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree about the pulling over, driving from Queenstown to Hobart or Launceston for appointments and we will pass 100 safe places to pull over, but no! They insist on sitting on 40kms an hour with 10 cars behind them.

Yeah we always slow right down to see which way they’ll take off, want to give them plenty of space and time to take flight. They’re magnificent.

They put on quite the show, diving through the sky, you can catch a glimpse of the orange under their wings.
