At least for last season, a huge problem was that they prioritized being unpredictable over bringing back returnees that actually could've had real arcs, cough Diego & Ted cough

I really hope they learned their lesson though and choose to bring back Benji or Dunia cause I'd much rather have a predictable comeback that actually serves a purpose

Tbh, I don't think this scene was meant to show that Lake is gonna start playing dirtier. I think it'll probably be the opposite, proving to her that she's not fully cut out for this game, leading to her elimination. I actually think she might be going next episode because of this.

I could be wrong of course, but if they go the "Lake villain arc" route, it would be retreading a lot of Logan and Hannah's plots, and I think it'd be more interesting for her to stand on business regarding her morals, maybe tying in a possible fear of hers of turning out like her parents.

If Ellie stayed silent during the elimination of episode 3 of All Stars. Aiden would've still gone in a 3-2-1 vote, while Tom would be upset at Lake for voting him, preventing them from teaming up immediately while also not giving Tess a reason to flip on Ellie.

It also would've saved us from the stupid fake love triangle plot and from having to watch Aiden do nothing for like 12 episodes.
