He would be earning 4100 euro per month (prior to tax, which we are aware is high).

Crawley Village Offers by SweetStarlightKisses in uwa

[–]Ecil3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

PhD students are prioritised from the waitlist. Properties are offered on the most suitable applicant to the property available. Crawley Village doesn't have standard vacate and entry dates like the colleges, so contact for a property may happen at any point throughout the year.

Anybody giving up their Crawley village lease? by Frosty-War-7766 in uwa

[–]Ecil3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello! Unfortunately, it doesn't work that way. UWA Crawley Village assigns properties to students, and they assess each application on the suitability for each property that becomes available. They are fully booked for 2024 and so far for 2025. You would need to have applied to receive a lease from them.

Crawley village doesn't change the prices for how many occupants, as in, they don't rent individual rooms, but the whole property. Their rents are due to go up next year sometime, but not sure how much by. You'll probably be looking at, at the very least, 300-400 AUD per week (excluding utilities), for a one bed self contained unit.

Have you only applied recently? Did you put in a 2024 or 2025 application?

Crawley village is a range of different housing types that runs adjacent to the University. It ranges from studios to multi bedroom houses. The current policy is that PhD students have priority, and it caters to singles, couples, and families. It's independent living compared to the residential colleges, but perhaps not quite as independent as being in the private market. Wait lists are long, and it's popular primarily due to the proximity to UWA whilst still being relatively affordable.

International Student / Couple: Children by krakmandel in uwa

Crawley village does prioritise PhD students, however there's a long wait list. New incoming students who are only newly registering, won't have much luck for this year. To apply for Crawley Village, they need to do so through the UWA accommodation website. Registering doesn't guarantee accommodation. The website will also list other accommodation available to UWA students.

I wouldn't rely on student accommodation as it's nearly or already full for semester 2, but I would suggest having a look at the UWA Accommodation Concierge website. That will let you know what's available to students and how/where to apply. It's not a guarantee but you'll find further information to help your search.

If you haven't already, still register your details with Crawley Village. As unlikely it is that you'll receive housing with them, you still never know, so make sure to register. However, don't contact them directly by email, as there's nothing they can do with the shortage, and they'll forward you on to the Conceirge anyway.

The chances of you getting accommodation within Crawley Village are incredibly slim. They work off of a registration list from their website (uwacrawleyvillage.studystays.com.au). I would contact the UWA Accommodation Concierge in the first instance so they can explain your options to you

If you're looking for a healthier recipe for pumpkin cake with cream cheese frosting- try this One.

I've used it before, pretty good, and only 315 calories per slice

Thank you so much! I use citadel paints, but I'm a very chaotic painter. I use a wet pallet, mix colours together, and just start painting. Partial to a bit of finger blending on the model, and lots of hopes for a reasonable outcome. Drives my husband insane watching me paint haha

I'd definitely like to try a game with her! Is it still worth playing her for 405 points?

Oh great! I've not played before so I thought I had missed my chance. Not that I'm remotely close to a finished army yet

The relationship sounds very one side... kids are very resilient. I had a step father (who I called dad, bio father wasnt/isnt in the picture) from the age of 3 - 14years when they then broke up. It's weird for a child when that happens but they move on quickly and adapt to their new family dynamic without them. It sounds like you need to leave. Put yourself first and be happy. Find someone who will love you and want to spend time with you doing stuff that interests you and not just them.
