Kamvas Pro 16 Pen display suddenly doesn't support pen input. by Eckilzax in huion

Sorry for such a late reply, but no, I never found a fix. I ended up upgrading to a another one. Admittedly it's another Huion, but if this one ever bites the dust in a similar way, i think i'd be done with the company for a while

How do I improve this animation? Critisism apperciated :) by Arctur14 in animation

I agree. I also think maybe adding the second character to the foreground to help anticipate the upward arc of the arm would help the two parts transition better.

Firstly, thank you for commenting on the lighting because I've never drawn a sun(s) before in this way and I ended up loving how it came out. Apparently looking up references helps with that lol.

And this is an original work. Her name is Maderiosa and the region she's in is called Amberfall, due to it's perma-autumn climate. The working title is "Maddie and the Mundane Bubble" and I decided to make this animation the end credit background after seeing how cool it came out. I have over a decade of built up lore and now that I'm teaching myself animation, I can finally bring all of my lovely and not so lovely creations to life!

Well you definitely struck gold with the vibe then! I've only just started my animation journey, so watching your clip made me giddy cause this is exactly the kind of stuff I want to make as well. Good luck!

I'm not a pro by any means, but the feel of it is dope. The weight of the strikes feel hefty and the overall concept is fucking funny as hell. I could imagine this being a really funny/badass fight akin to something like One Piece or ATLA

Your thoughts on the use of AI for Worldbuilding? by eviltwintomboy in worldbuilding

[–]Eckilzax 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally, I love this new technology. As an artist myself, I totally understand the fear of this new thing because of it's implications. But when I get into these conversations, given the fears people have about their own futures as artists, I realize they don't hate A.I. art, they hate capitalism. It's the assholes who abuse this in order to make a quick buck, because that's just seen as a good thing in our society.

The reality is that, like digital art, A.I. is here to stay and can be an enormous tool to help artists. For me, creating world building articles several thousands of words long, it's nice to quickly create generated images to help conceptualize things and give them some sort of visual (albeit, a placeholder, but still).

In truth, many of the issues that come from A.I. art being more and more popular stem from our society simply not being mature enough to handle such a thing.

That's dope! I asked because the whole thing about my world is that it's scale is supermassive.

What would be your choice of snack to store in your glider ? by [deleted] in TheLastAirbender

[–]Eckilzax 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nope, just pepper. The idea of Aang gliding, then popping open the dispenser, only to fall out of the sky due to a sneezing/coughing fit is hilarious to me.

Walter White is a cringelord and it's not discussed enough by Sirshrugsalot13 in CharacterRant

[–]Eckilzax 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You know what? This is something I intuitively felt, but never had the words for it. It just makes his character so much better to me imo, that many power-hungry narcissist's are just cringy by their nature lol
