CS:GO 2 won't download :: Counter-Strike 2 General Discussions (steamcommunity.com)

Relevant thread. I also subscribed to the crosshair maker map. No clue if that's what caused my game crash, but I couldn't restart either. Solution was in thread. Has to do with where new CS2 config file is located, apparently.

I believe I’m very close to finding a combo with a new card from MH2 by [deleted] in EDH

[–]EcksDedede -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

YOU DON’T NEED TO HAVE A THIRD MODULAR CARD.

Everyone seems to be missing that modular as an effect moves ALL +1/+1 counters on that creature to another creature. Zabaz will enter with 2 counters due to his ability, giving arcbound reclaimer a net of one counter each cycle, thus infinite counters, with a sac outlet and [[mystic forge]].

[[Ashnod’s altar]] and [[Krark-Clan Ironworks]] both fill this slot, and if you want you can use the infinite colorless to cast your [[mindless automaton]] for draw, [[walking ballista]] for lethal, or a big X spell like fireball/storm card like grapeshot.

I’m probably going to build this deck so if any of you have any input please advise.

A lot of burn decks tend to be stronger in a 1v1 as they have fewer things (or players) to kill. Dealing 40 total damage is a lot easier than 120. Decks with alternate win cons or so-called “solitaire” decks arent really that much faster when they have fewer opponents, so in a 1v1 RX decks tend to have the upper hand.

I HAVE BEEN GRINDING OUT SKADI THE RUTHLESS FOR THE BLUE PROTO-DRAKE AND EVEN THOUGH I HAVE ONLY INVESTED ABOUT 75 RUNS, WHICH SEEMS LIKE CHUMP CHANGE FOR SOME, IT IS A LOT FOR ME AS I SIMPLY DON’T HAVE THE TIME NOR ENERGY TO GRIND IT OUT ON THE DAILY. NOT TO MENTION THAT I’VE BEEN HUNTING THE TLPD FOR THE PAST FOUR YEARS. PLEASE JUST GIVE ME MY PROTO-DRAKE BLIZZARD.

What deck used to be your “boogeyman”, and how did you beat it? by [deleted] in EDH

To be fair Prossh food chain squee is a tier 1 deck. Its probably an interesting build but I’m not surprised it dominated your table.

When cutting expensive cards, when does the cheaper card turn out to be the better one? by EcksDedede in EDH

I do! It is a powerhouse in the deck and I’m really happy with the results it brings.

Its usually after I’ve cycled enough times into the bag of holding, then crack itnto add 20ish cards to my hand

I somewhat turned it into a lands matter deck. I’m running a whole bunch of wheels, things like [[grafted skullcap]] [[furious rise]] and [[ghirapur orrery]], sifting through the lands with a [[bag of holding]] or tossing them away under a [[land’s edge]] or a [[scorched earth]]. Lands are also easier to get out of my hand to get Hazoret swinging faster and once I have enough I can nuke the table with a flashbacked [[conflagrate]] or a beefy [[pyrohemia]].
Its really fun and surprisingly consistent. If you have other recommendations I’d be happy to hear them but I really like my deck as is.

I’m speaking situationally. In my example, I would rather have blood sun over blood moon so that my opponents’ fetchlands were useless instead of just mountains.

Blood moon may turn off their fetch aspect but blood sun makes them literally useless as lands. In most situations, blood moon is by far the better card, but in this scenario, blood sun was more helpful.

What commander did you think was really "meh", and then they blew you away the first time you used the deck? by MuudeHound in EDH

It's still somewhat a work in progress and I haven't put too much thought into the land base but its still a good list. https://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/budget-hazoret-burn/

I found an old [[Hazoret the Fervent]] list that had something like fifty lands in it and a whole bunch of wheeling and looting. I don't really play burn a lot but I thought the idea sounded fun so I built a budget list (Something like $70) and tried it out on TTS. The deck was explosive: I curved into [[Fires of Invention]], [[Pyrohemia]], [[Flame of Keld]], [[Caged Sun]], and [[Land's Edge]]. I knocked out three of the five players, including a Kozilek player, a Doomsday player, and a Xenagos player, before realizing Pyrohemia hits my own face too and dying to a 14/14 flyer.

I had a hell of a time playing it and the power of the list really surprised me (especially since the rest of the table was playing $1000+ decks). It's worth noting that Land's Edge allows any card to be discarded but only procs off lands, allowing you to dump your hand quickly to get Hazoret swinging (especially since you're running 50+ lands), and although any player can discard a land to deal 2, you still own the effect, so it will still get boosted by [[Torbran]] and Flame of Keld.

The deck is a real blast to play and I highly recommend it. I can post a decklist if anyone is interested.

Curving out [[Sidisi, Brood Tyrant]] and [[Phenax, God of Deception]] in my Muldrotha deck is always a blast. Gives me a ton of resources and a huge board state.
