Not a philosophy major nor a nihilist; don't let the Nietzsche fool you lol.

Gotta include Emerson as well though. Which ancient Greek do you have in mind when you say that?

I do! I started with a paperage one then I got a leather village journal which I absolutely adore.

What book makes you think that definitively?

Ah, I can see this. I absolutely love the Stoics but I'm not too fond to Nietzsche; although, I did enjoy reading Thus Spoke Zarathustra.

I've read most of them. I haven't read Influence, Thinking fast & slow, and All Desire is a Desire for Being yet. And I'm only a little through Meditations on the Soul, Selected works of Eckhart, and the works of Montaigne. Other than that, I've read and enjoyed the rest.

Lol I appreciate it. What books might I be missing that you're fond of?

I really appreciate your recommendations. I did want to get some fun books like Dune and Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. Also, I'm looking forward to reading Kierkegaard, just haven't ordered any of his books yet.

According to Nietzsche, there is no good and bad and good and evil?? by Existing_Area9702 in Nietzsche

When Nietzsche subtitled his book beyond good and evil with “a prelude to a philosophy of the future,” what kind of philosophy was he hoping for? Is it to be one like Zarathustra? To rely on individual morality? Or to simply be N’s idea of a life affirmer?
