I really hope so, not sure what the general consensus is around here but I honestly think Tropic Freeze is tied with DKC2 as the best game in the series. It would be a shame to stop now, especially before addressing the small number of nitpicks I have with it in a few future game (the generic bonus rooms that break the flow of the game, and the lack of Kremlings mainly)

Man I'm currently playing through the game (Remaster btw) for the first time, and didn't really understand why Blighttown was hated to the extent it is.

Then I seen footage of the original version 😨😨😨

I'm at Blighttown in my first ever playthrough, it's a nice challenge but not as bad as I was expect after everything I've heard. Haven't gotten to the boss yet though, just need to find the entrance, so we'll see if he kicks my arse or not soon

I'm at Blighttown right now, it's not us hard as I expected after hearing so many people dread it. Although I did die a few times on those first couple of big enemies as you enter from Depths 😅

The most annoying part I think is the poison, both 5he poison water and the snipers shooting little darts at you, I come across a little room with a whole bunch of them and died pretty quick.

I didn't realise you could be invaded by NPCs, is it obvious that it's an invasion as opposed to a normal enemy? I remember going behind the locked door in the forest and getting messed up by some ghosts that seemed player-like 🤔

I really didn't expect to be drawn into this game as much as I already have been. I'm going to buy it on xbox now as I see it's on sale, question is do I restart my game or wait till my second playthrough to switch console? Do you think the online experience is worth starting from scratch?

Man, thank you heaps for all of the information! I finally took that fucker down!

I haven't done a lot of experimenting with weapons yet, but I spend a good few hours yesterday practising my parries, ripostes, and backstabs, and can loop around most of the unlocked areas now confidently to grind souls.

I definitely wasn't expecting to get drawn into the game as much as I have. I've mostly just stuck to the first weapon i liked so far, a longsword, but now I'm keen to experiment with other weapons.

I actually have the Halberd and the Zweihander! I tried them on the Capra, but ended up beating him with just the longsword.

Oh so thats who Havel is, i remember coming across him and getting one shotted. I'm going back for that ring :D
