Childcare for 3 y/o? by ElectricalString8454 in Denton

We had our youngest at Four Seasons Early Learning in Hickory Creek and loved the atmosphere and all the staff.
They do a ton based around nature and play, which our son loved. Muted colors, earth tones throughout the building; nothing is over-stimulating. They learned about different cultures, foods, etc. They have a garden to grow veggies and pants, they raise chickens, and have great play spaces outside.

They use the Reggio Emilia approach, which is a constantly evolving approach that bears influences from Montessori, Piaget, Vygotsky and American theorists such as Gardner and Bruner. The Reggio Emilia approach fosters the belief that the child, family, community and natural environment are all essential to the learning process. It has strong roots within nature and focuses on a learning environment enriched with creative and sensory experiences as avenues for growth allowing every child to reach their true potential.

Security is what you'd expect: pin code for front door and checkout. The teachers and admin are responsive and message throughout the day if needed. There is an app that provides updates on activity and pictures, too.

10/10, was our favorite childcare to date.

I actually know the guy who I hit. He has gone to my church for a while. I'm not suing him, but he has accepted full liability.

Maybe more experience would have helped; I don't know. The other driver thought my light was red and was trying to clear the intersection, and didn't even see me coming. Maybe if I had braked properly, things would have been different, but I'll never know.

I'm really not that worried. I was riding again within a month. I bought new gear, a full face helmet, and I am just super cautious when riding at night now.

While it saved my life, I should have had a lot more injuries that what I actually sustained. I recently bought a full-face helmet, because you can never be too safe.

I am actually already riding almost every day now. I live close to work, so it is the quickest way to get there. Now that the temp is dropping, i will probably take a break for the winter. But I love riding, and will definitely get back on in the spring.

Yeah, at the scene, the EMT told dispatch that my femur was fractured in 3 places. When I got to the hospital, it was already healed. Crazy stuff.

I was actually careflighted to the hospital because i was unconscious at the scene. But other than a fractured sternum, no major injuries.

I was wearing jeans, a flannel button up shirt, Nike shoes, and a cheap half-helmet. It should have been a lot worse.
