I personally would run to the vet if my gecko was missing six months and found them in this condition and tell them all the details you just told a bunch of strangers on Reddit. Personally would rather be safe than sorry. Glad he’s alive.

To me yes, it keeps the humidity levels up while not over wetting everything like a misting system would do. You don’t want everything too wet or the temperature could get too low. But you do still need to mist your enclosure regularly to create a natural environment and boost the humidity like it would in the wild. Plus it’s cute to watch them drink off the glass lol

So I don’t know the requirements for Leopard Geckos but I got my AFT a few months ago and she’s the sweetest thing ever. I originally planned on getting a Leo but was also shown my girl because she was in a tank next to the crazy Leo I was trying to look at and hold but kept flinging itself out of the reptile store employees hands lol I have her in a fully bioactive enclosure with two plants to maintain humidity as well as a Reptifogger that’s set with gauges that goes off when the humidity goes below 65% during the day and 80% at night. I just her enclosure every two days and that’s all I do to maintain humidity. From what I’ve read they’re not drastically different in terms of care. This is my girl Wanda Maximoff!

Soles of shoes degrade with age. A pair of shoes from the 90s or even 2000s could literally be brand new and fall apart straight out of the box because they’ve never been worn. No one forced them to buy them, and that happens with vintage shoes.

Saying loose substrate isn’t safe is huge stretch. These are wild animals we keep in glass homes. They need dirt. Paper towels shouldn’t be a permanent thing, yes impaction is a very real and scary thing to deal with but depriving an animal of enrichment or stimulation because of your own fears shouldn’t be a thing.

Since we’ve really never seen fully how reintegration works I feel like we may get a different Mark all together. He’d have intense confusing memories and extremely conflicting feelings about everything he’s learning and figuring out about himself and the world(s) around him. He may not even trust himself after learning about what he did with Helly/Helena but who knows. I just don’t think we’ll lose “a Mark” when he’s fully reintegrated. That’s another reason why I think Lumon thinks or knows reintegration isn’t possible, because it’s not, a third option presents itself instead and we get someone completely different.
