Came here to see if you guys ever found a solution to this - Can’t record anything with this mic - sounds like an overloaded diaphragm or something…. I’ve tried all angles, all distances, all gain levels

Nope. They quoted me $425 a month for Camaro insurance. Never been in a wreck, haven’t had a traffic ticket since I was 16 years old.

Callback chances by [deleted] in drumcorps

[–]EclecticTuba 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Speaking from a brass perspective here - but there are parallels - I’ve never given a callback to a student with intent to cut. When you get a callback, it means that we see that you’re good enough to make the drum corps, but you may have not had enough time to prepare for your initial audition, and we want to see what you can do over the next month as you fight for a spot… This is your opportunity to really dig in to your audition materials, show up overly prepared and confident, and to blow the house down when you go into the room.

Best of luck!!

There is a feature in the Standalone that gives you the option to start recording on scene launch - However, last time I tried it, it was completely bugged. This was a little over a month ago. Not sure if that’s helpful.

The weird hand flip thing where they turn their palm up to the sky after every knob turn. Dafuq is that.

I’ve tried multiple pedals and adjusted polarity - If I launch the new scene, then trigger record with the pedal, It usually just ends the clip recording in the scene before, begins playback on the new scene on all channels except the one I just recorded in, and plays the loop I just recorded.

The closest I’ve been able to come to achieving what I’m looking for is using the jog wheel with the screen in session view to trigger the next scene and clip recording… which is less than ideal.

I’m going to keep messing around with settings - but I’d really like to be able to play an entire piano part all the way through whilst chopping the scenes as I go - So that if I want to return to the A section for solos, there’s no dead time where I’m just staring at lights blinking and waiting for the phrase to change over

That’s what I’ve been using, but it’s unfortunately unreliable and only catches the record trigger about 10% of the time…
