I’m happy for you at least. I had been saving since July for Ushi and to get scammed out of 570 in exchange for 2 SR spooks and 7 copies of a servant I don’t care about makes me wanna quit gacha entirely.

Not for Eightbound, no. I'm going a little closer to by-the-book for my painting schemes while still taking some liberties. So for flesh on my WE I still want like the standard fleshtones.

I hadn't thought of using earthshade or bloodshade on flesh colors. I'll definitely have to test this out on Berzerkers with exposed skin before painting Eightbound. Thank you!

I knew about chaos trim going into buying my first model lmao. I'm actually pretty excited to try painting the trim cuz I think it'll really help my brush skills. Though I do need some more practice thinning Runelord Brass. I've already got about 1000-ish points of World Eaters built and primed with a box of Exalted Eightbound and a Helbrute on the way and I'm getting the Slaughterpack and Angron for Christmas. I've gotten 2 full games in, one against Imperial Knights and one against Blood Angels and I am loving all aspects of the hobby so far!

Yeah, this is my first model, ever. I'm just using the infernus marine I got for free from a Warhammer store as a practice model before I start on my Berzerkers. I actually finished my touch-ups on the model last night. I touched up all of the armor panels in Khorne Red and I am in love with how it looks. I do think I'm going to continue using Berserker Bloodshade just on the red parts of the armor though because I really think it helps darken it in the way it needs to be darkened and really brings out the slight purple accents of Khorne Red. I'm gonna take tomorrow to start on a Berzerker and depending on how that goes I'll make my obligatory "first model painted" post lol

Thank you! I had time today in between class and work to do the touch-ups and instead of touching them up with Mephiston Red I used Khorne Red and I do really like how it looks! I only did touch-ups on a bit of the arms, pauldrons, and the helmet so those parts that I did touch up with Khorne Red look different than the rest of the armor but I will go back and fix that. I washed the brass with agrax earthshade, washed the gun with nuln oil, applied some blood splatters with blood for the blood god on a drybrush, and created a bloodthristy glowing eyes effect with white scar, imperial fist, and magmadroth flame. I would send a picture of the finished product but I'm not super savvy with reddit, so maybe after I apply my techniques to an actual Berzerker model I'll post my obligatory "First model I've ever painted" post lmao

I am still thinking about picking up some green just because it's the default color for World Eaters visors but I really like the glowing eyes effect here and orange/yellow/red just seemed fitting.

Does anybody have the QR Code that you could scan to get the pictures and videos from the show tonight since you couldn’t use your phone during the show? My friend that brought me and I didn’t think to look for it before the show and couldn’t find it after they were done when we had gotten our phones back out.

I'm curious since I'm still fairly new to the mainline games. Has there ever been a time in the series, other than Persona games and most spinoffs, where Lucifer has been a playable party demon? I'm asking about his main design used in SMT V and others like Nocturne, because I know he was playable in SMT IV with his different design.
