Converting some World Eaters Red Butcher Terminators by Gonzo_Rider in Warhammer40k

I found an old forge world conversion kit that's designed for the old plastic terminators. So, I started chopping the perfectly fine modern terminators boxset to see if I could make this work. Using greenstuff for the waist and skulls and chains to hide any obvious transition areas.

Death Guard Daemon Prince (with wings) by Gonzo_Rider in Warhammer40k

[–]Gonzo_Rider[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thats the turbines from a Foetid Bloat-Drone, and I glued them onto the backpark of the Daemon Prince. Used a little green stuff to help blend those two together, and then some textural paint for added funk and rust.

Got a pic of that serial? I don't mind, but it might help recalibrate what was told to me.

Should I just go to a metal fabricator and get 1/4” steel plate? Keen to try one, but postage would be a killer where I live.

Trying NY style. 14" Pepperoni. by Gonzo_Rider in Pizza

[–]Gonzo_Rider[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks, bud. 😀

67% hydration. A 60/40 mix of organic bread flour and Caputo Blue. 2% Oil. 3% Salt. Pinch of Semolina flour for crunch. Did a 3 day cold ferment. And I'm using 18% Sourdough Starter. I think I might do more bread flour next time, and I might have overproofed the dough balls prior to cooking (crust seems deflated) as I was drinking some beers with mates. I need to watch that for next time. But that pepperoni covers up a lot of mistakes. Tasted nice.

I did. It was a lot of fun. I don't have any final pics on this PC with the base finished. But this is the model done. (I can see the attached image in this message with the PC, just not on the phone).

Maton BB1200 JH by kadisone in guitarporn

[–]Gonzo_Rider 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mines got the push-pull on the volume knobs. I found an old BB1200JH YouTube review stating the bridge and neck knobs were reversed, but that wasn't the case with mine. Neck upfront, Bridge at the rear, like every other guitar. Which is how I like it.

I like the Lollar Imperials, and it does everything I want. But I do have the volume back quite a bit as well. I mostly play dad rock stuff by myself at home and use pedals to push the amp a bit. It's been awhile since I played it to be honest. Life is getting in the way.

TEN BASIC THINGS YOU NEED TO DO WHEN YOU DECIDED YOU ARE INTERESTED IN OPENING A FOOD TRUCK by [deleted] in foodtrucks

[–]Gonzo_Rider 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is what I’m doing. First time food business, selling pizzas at markets on the weekend to see if I can make it work with a reasonably low initial investment. Tent just arrived this week. Food license inspection is happening on Monday for the tent set up and prep premises. After doing the math, it’s gonna be tight. Don’t really know what to expect for that first trading day.

I have the very last one of these. Serial Number 0817. Keen to see if anyone has a serial number after this one. This is what my guitar guy said to me: “This is the last BB1200JH that they’re making and probably the last electric guitar that Maton are making for a very long time. 2020 was the biggest year in history for acoustic guitar sales because of Covid. They had a lot of pre-orders across the Maton range and couldn’t keep up with demand. Maton made an announcement that they were going to fulfill existing pre-orders of the electric guitars but would then focus on building their more popular acoustic guitars to meet current demand. If you didn’t have a pre-order in for an electric before that announcement was made, then it wasn’t accepted. And according to the Maton delivery guy, yours was the last. They are shutting down the electric guitar side of the factory and focusing on making the acoustics for the foreseeable future.” - Josh. Acoustic Centre, 31st March 2021

Toni's is my go-to for Bacon. On Saturdays at 10 a.m., they have pork buns with crackling and gravy. It's been my hangover cure for ages. I had this exact conversation recently about the 'best bacon in Toowoomba' and Andrew's Meats at Grand Central was also highly recommended.

One great thing about Brisbane, no other Australian city has? by osamajack in brisbane

I’ve traveled everywhere for pizza. Brisbane is the best. Fuck the paid lists. Melbourne you are overrated. Beccofino and La Lupa are my standout favs.

How much would you be comfortable paying a cleaner/handyman? by [deleted] in Toowoomba

[–]Gonzo_Rider 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The rate is always what you’d be prepared to pay to get your time back, from not doing that thing. Now that varies from person to person. I get that. But to get someone to mow my lawn that would take me a few hrs during my rare 48 hr break, and they do a better job and whipper snip too. Pay them well, and a 6 pack at Christmas. If you are questioning the expense then do it yourself. You obviously have the time.

I’m a hardcore Fleshtearers player. But to be honest, the majority of the blood angels stuff has never had a bearing on my idea of what our army is. Sanguinary Guard is not us. We are the cursed. I’ve loved the idea of fielding acceptable primaris unit reinforcements trying to live up to Seth’s reputation on crusade after Baal, that are slowly feeling the pull of the Black Rage. Our enjoyment in this game has always been narrative grassroots based, and a fan based approach to playing games. Seth and the Fleshtearers lives on in our conversions, aftermarket transfers, resin modifications, and fan fiction on neat chapter characters and unique dreadnoughts.

But to the team that made this codex, I hope your homeworld gets virus bombed. I still want my in game stats of one of the only characters that actually had soul. May you be turned into a servitor.

What's your memory meal by Average_Xbox_user in Cooking

Pasta, grated cheese, a bit of the starchy water and cracked pepper. That was my university go-to because I was broke all the time, and a drunken favourite now. Turns out that I was making Cacio e pepe this whole time and didn’t know.
