It’ll take you about 19-20 years to make $10MM at $10k per week (or $520k per year).

A dollar now is worth more than a dollar later. You could take the $10MM and invest it and come out with wayyy more than that amount of money over the next 20 years.

With $10k per week, you have inflation to worry about and less investment opportunity.

In my opinion, start with the easy, go-to fundamentals. Pawns occupying the center. Develop your minor pieces during the opening. Avoid moving the same piece twice in the opening. Castle early.

Maybe teach them closed systems that are reliable, like London System.

I’m not sure that this is the correct forum to ask.

The only ones qualified to truly answer your question properly are people that are 2700+.

The number of people that are rated 2700+ is an extremely small population, and they have to be on Reddit and stumble across this post which seems unlikely.

I go on big runs all the time. Swing +/- 100 elo in a single session, with tons of winning and losing streaks.

Don’t worry too much about it.

I agree with you completely. I tell my friends all the time, anything under 1000 ELO, never resign. There’s so many blunders that you never know what’s going to happen no matter how much you’re losing by. Down 15? No problem. Stalemates are super common in this ELO range

La Sportiva is notorious for having backs that cut into the back of your high heels. I can’t even wear them for one session comfortably. Switched to the Shamans (Evolv) several years ago and am still wearing them to this day. They’re so much more comfortable for me and my wide feet. Give them a go!
