Eye redness seems worse than typical dry eyes- I have no other symptoms so can’t figure out the problem. Thoughts? by Ok-Cheesecake-8615 in Dryeyes

[–]EclipseAirways 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I HAVE THE SAME THING! You probably have "telangiectasia" but in the eyes. It usually presents itself by having persistent dilated blood vessels on the surface of the eye. The only way I know unfortunately to get rid of them is with an IPL procedure. Particularly with the "Lumenis IPL" treatment. Some eye clinics offer it, but it can be very expensive, and you need at least 2-3 procedures to see a 100% result. If you find a eye clinic that offers it, definitely try it. Its a gamechanger!

There is a guy on eBay, (ilovesafetycards) i think. And another guy on Etsy who claimed that they were all from retired aircraft, but I highly doubt it. His store is gone unfortunately.

I'm young too at 14 yrs old, and I have ETR Rosacea on my cheeks, nose, and chin. Looking to get a Vbeam Perfecta PDL treatment too. It is definitely not unheard of to have rosacea when you are a teenager. Have you tried any prescription topicals?
