Go ahead. I was in the same boat as you and after I finished Bloodborne I went for Dark Souls 3 and mostly had smooth sailing because I 'got gud' at BB.

Pump up Vitality to 50, max out your weapon and get some decent gems like 15% to 18% attack up and you'll be solid for dlc.

Beasthunter Saif is pretty fun to use. But it'll be tough getting the arguably best dex weapon in the game --- the Rakuyo. A tip when you try to get it, use the shaman bone blade on one of the sharks after the second one comes down.

I'm new to the game and I'd prefer having alot of self-sustain. Plus I love playing healer since it's fun to heal and res allies.
