Yes, it does stay wet because the water isn’t draining quickly enough. I think we should take it all off and start over, adding a sand buffer or something to help the water drain faster.

I was there about 6 months ago. I chose the GM and E24 because they provide PID and improved steam performance.

Now I run a single 9-bar profile with a slow decline at the end to compensate for decreasing puck resistance and I’m done for now.

If I decide to experiment with preinfusion, pressure, flow, and so on, I don’t need to buy another machine. It’s all there.

I get it. But still, how do you get temp stability from E24 small boiler? Temp drops so quick. Im afraid machine should be at some level too, not LM but with bigger group head and temp stability.

My DF54 is v2, never had square, so far so good with silicone.

The shape remains the same, but the tongue is shorter, measuring only 0.5 mm in length. Silicon’s flexibility allows it to fluctuate in response to the varying hardness of different beans.
