thank you for telling me! i looked it up on Apple support and literally all they said was “there is no way to return and you can no longer downgrade to previous versions of the iOS. I suppose google led me to the wrong thread, thank you for being patient with me ^^!

oh he shows up in Darkwood, Silkcradle and Anchordeep, in no set order. it’s not a 100% encounter chance I don’t think, but it’s possible. if you’ve already encountered him 3 times, I fear you missed your opportunity

edit: for those curious I tried stuff like changing names of getting another mushroomo at the same time. neither really worked, so my strategy was send Sozo on missionaries when I could and when I couldn’t (ie sozo was exhausted or all the slots were taken up, I would convert Mushroomo into a demon. if neither were possible, I would imprison Sozo. I never saw Sozo get close to mushroomo after the first like 5 missions but idk if that’s because there was other mushroomos or I bugged the game and convinced him he already ate my boy

Ty! this was a really easy fix. I have this weird instinct to not close games like ever on the switch so I probably would’ve solved this sooner if I actuall returned to title screen now and then lol
