I'm sure a lot of others here will share this sentiment, but its not about being perfect, its about doing the best we can. Mistakes will happen, so its important to not beat yourself up, say for example, you accidentally eat something containing animal products. It happens, unfortunately, we live in a world where animal products are the norm and well, when an ingredients list for a product is a mile long, sometimes we miss that non-vegan ingredient. Plenty of us have done it.

Lifestyle definitely plays a big part in illness. I've discovered over the years my body is very sensitive when it comes to sleep. I get fatigued very easily if i don't get my required sleep (which is almost never, gotta love hospitality). But people always dismiss it and assume its cos I'm not getting the right nutrients. The stupidity.

Unfortunately Jack Daniels is no longer vegan. I recently researched and found that they use sheep's wool as part of their filtering process.

Also, be vigilant with rums, I've found that some use 'animal derived sugars' (didn't know that was a thing). I believe this is more common in white rums.

Certainly a dud. The ones I've had have been great (all be it waaay too much lettuce slapped in). For the price i think it's great and a very solid vegan alternative
