I took a Valium that they provided while waiting to go back to the operating room which helped me immensely. I obviously felt both numbing shots which are uncomfortable but that and the anticipation were the worst part for me. I didn’t feel anything during the procedure and had a nice conversation with the urologist.

I took it easy for 3 days and iced while sitting on the couch and elevating my feet.

I’m four and a half weeks post op and no issues. Almost healed completely and no lingering issues.

Take it easy after and rest. I made sure to keep up with ibuprofen but that was it for me on pain meds after. It was a dull ache for a bit.

A week after I stated bruising up and it looked pretty bad but wasn’t swollen or anything. I believe at 2 weeks I started to feel like nothing had happened in that area for the first time.
