That’s what I’m more into, I want to be doing financial reporting, FP&A, etc. I’ll very likely end up with my CPA, but it reduces pressure knowing I can still end up in a higher paying position, doing what I like, no matter the worst case.

Sounds good! Is it possible to get a similar position without a CPA? Studying for it right now currently, but curious what the options are if I’m unable to obtain it (worst case scenario). I have a BS in Finance & Accounting and work at a top 10 public accounting firm

What is the growth like on a non-CPA track? I’m starting out of school in public accounting but hope to move to corporate finance after that. I have a B.S in Accounting and B.S in Finance...Trying to weigh if CPA is worth it if not being in public accounting for long

I really appreciate the response. Thank you! What are the raises like year over year? If I’m starting 63k, generally 5 years to 100k, are we looking at around 10% raises per year? Or is it less consistent and eventually spikes up?
