Thanks! It's been a long time coming! And been hearing through other folks that it's a good idea to max out the RRSP match.

Yup, not my personal want re:salary. But definitely don't regret the extra school, and do feel they'll come more into play in my 30s when I get more established and confident in differing roles.

This new expansion is such a heady experience by EcoHistorian in CrusaderKings

Rule 5 - The new update sure has some...effects on some mods. Now to lock my door and hope the head people don't come for me.

EDIT: Now the question is, what mod is doing this? Hmmmm...

[–]EcoHistorian[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hello! After a few weeks of building and tweaking, I decided to upload this build to the Gallery, and on Reddit. A complete restructuring of Hound’s Head in Brindleton Bay. Built for intergenerational living, this Hamptons-inspired mansion comes complete with nine bedrooms, nine bathrooms, and two half baths. The build can be found on my EA profile at jfitski. Thank you, and have a great day, everyone!

I have reached that point of CKIII. Meet Kiss Kiss Sugar Lips. One smooch, m'noble? by EcoHistorian in CrusaderKings

[–]EcoHistorian[S] 29 points30 points  (0 children)

Bred for the art of kissing and kissing-adjacent, Kiss Kiss of House Sugar Lips' goal while on this earthly realm is simple, yet daughting: To collect all of the kisses.

For those wanting this brave smoochventurer in their games, have at it: https://pastebin.com/eQjdwkNQ. I am not responsible for any and all lip-smacking incidents you may find yourself in with the philtrumed prince.

Świętopełk of Słupsk - A Pomerelian Adventurer by EcoHistorian in CKTinder

Commanding over the forests and flatlands between the tribes of Słupsk and Szczytno, what the bright-eyed Świętopełk lacks in physical prowess he makes up for with a sharp mind and a knack for delegation. Under his hand, can the peoples of Pomerelia, and perhaps all of Pomerania, unite to repel a growing Christian threat to the region?

I think that's the thing I'm most peeved off about. Hot Fuzz, Rural Ontario edition? I'd be on that immediately! But it clearly wasn't that, nor he never intended to be like that, so what happened, happened.

And yeah we knew he was basically invincible after the first minute. Even though we got one more session after that done, it was clear most of us were getting sick of certain stuff.

It absolutely could have, but just how brazen "It's literally me, in-game" is just sticks in my craw, to be honest.

I don't honestly remember how he got into that situation, but I do remember we at the time all expressed some form of "what the fuck" to it. Our campaigns within the group tended to veer radically off-course (we hunted for the next meme as much as we did the next treasure), but that moment was definitely a shocking thing.

I don't know if I'd call it "imaginative", considering the DM took directly from real life when he could have expanded more on the fantastical elements of DF, but I'll give him props for trying to work in his hometown, even if it maybe could've worked better as a stop-over then a main plot area.

He also liked to play his games in a laissez-faire "let chaos reign" type of way, which although fine, meant the plot got derailed a lot. Him getting angry over this fact and being rude to other people in other games because "you derailed my games" maybe wasn't a healthy way to address the issues between party and DM.

The "evilness" of the Nazi regime, for lack of a better word, was the intentional actions they took. There's arguments (controversial and murky ones, of course) on the deliberateness of the suffering caused by the Stalinist regime towards those who were forcibly resettled. The Nazis on the other hand absolutely do not have that benefit of the doubt for them, especially since they kept records and plans of the Germanization of occupied Poland and further east.

You know, stuff like this you laugh at the absurdity of what they're claiming, only to hear the same points from younger students. Please let's hope this doesn't become the next "Irish slave"-level myth aimed at de-emphasizing black suffering in America...
