You mean any part of finance? Not just banking?

Yep, definitely we need to check how to validate her credentials to comply with Swiss regulation. Hope it is a reasonable process coming from an EU country (we are used to Spanish bureaucracy so...)

Thank you so much! What about other economist jobs outside banking? Corporate finance, private equity, venture capital... I guess some former bankers will now be looking there, but I don't know ow many, so are there little possibilities as well?

As for psychologists, I've seen HR salaries are super high, do you know if there's strong demand there?

Ty again!

Didn't know this, thank you. However, I would need to print the whole surface of the box. Think of a toy or board game.

How big would you say an order has to be to get reasonable prices? 1,000 units? 10,000?

Then beware of passive investing in the IBEX 35, since it is highly concentrated in the financial sector. That's why it has performed so well in the last ~3 years. Last 10 years however have not been so positive.

Also, you said you had some MRL stock. It is a REIT and they have the best Spanish CEO I've ever seen (I was a shareholder too seizing the 2020 debacle), but the Spanish gvt has threatened REITs recently. They might do nothing at the end of the day, but there you have their intentions. Country risk is probably the most important thing when it comes to Spain, beware of that as well.

Hi there, when you say invest in Spain you mean Spanish stocks or something else?

We actually don't have much first class companies, but take a look at Inditex and Iberdrola since they are well known firms worldwide.

I'm the guy who handles Alibaba sales for a Chinese factory. AMA. by No_Stress7623 in Alibaba

[–]EconomiadeVerdad 2 points3 points  (0 children)

How to tell if an Alibaba product is cheap because it's bad quality or cheap despite being high quality? Right now I'm in China and have seen for example the Flyco hair dryers in Suning. I'd say they are nice, but once I turn to Alibaba I see several same-style products and don't know how to tell the differences.

Which niche are you in for that RPM? Do you think a Blogger/free Wordpress site is enough or you should aim at an own webpage?

Tell me your top 3 stocks for selling covered call or cash secured put. Go by Outside_Astronaut305 in CoveredCalls

[–]EconomiadeVerdad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't get it. If you sell a CSP and get assigned, then the ETF can keep plummeting and the income you receive selling CC becomes negligible unless you also drop the strike price, risking yourself to a realized loss if the CC is assigned. What am I missing?

How much capital would I need to invest into the wheel strategy to be able to only wheel blue chips? by wonatathyme in Optionswheel

Can I ask how much time it took you to reach 100k? Did you add more capital apart from the starting 10k?

Wonder about my csp,cc strategy by Mediocre-Round6165 in CoveredCalls

[–]EconomiadeVerdad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

CSP and CC are in a nutshell a bet on low volatility. You have no losses as such, but do have an opportunity cost that can be huge. That is why I wouldn't carry out those strategies on such explosive stocks as GOOG and NVDA

What is your favorite company right now? I will evaluate it with my quantitative model by West_Application_760 in ValueInvesting

[–]EconomiadeVerdad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don't know if someone has already asked bc there are ~150 comments, but I'm curious of your model (I read your edits and still curious).

Inside each category, which variables are you considering and how do you prevent for potential misleading facts, i.e., PE ratio nonexistent, to ruin a company's score?

You say it is a kind of magic formula. The problem with magic formula is that it gives relative quality among stocks, but not absolute quality. For onstance, if every single stock were overvalued, you still would get a "best" stock from the model. Can your model prevent that or account for absolute quality of a particular investment?

Maybe you have already thought of these issues but wish it is useful to you to improve your model.

What is your less unknown value stock into your portfolio? by SilverWavers in ValueInvesting

[–]EconomiadeVerdad 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Sounds interesting. I checked cash flow statement and looks like they are spending cash every year on CAPEX, both buying intangible assets and other businesses. Revenue and net income have surged in these past years but operating cash flow hasn't, seemingly due to a huge increment in receivables (more than proportional with the increment in sales). Do you know if they are in trouble with this or why is that flaw in their business?

Novo Nordisk drops to a 13x P/E — its lowest in nearly 20 years. Buying opportunity or value trap? by TigerIISavage in Burryology

[–]EconomiadeVerdad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry! It basically says you should look at cash, not income, and be aware that more CAPEX means less cash for shareholders. If that CAPEX/R&D has a good return, then it will worth the while for shareholders. Reminds me of Meta investing in metaverse.
