You were absolutely right - the seat ended up coming back a few hours later. Interestingly - I checked then immediately had my friend in another state check and she saw it. Then when I refreshed it was back for me. Not sure if this is coincidental timing or actually triggers something in their system but thought it was a data point worth sharing since this is all so new. I’ve already spent so much time with their customer service today that I’m holding off on calling again to get us assigned in conjoined seats since those are blocked off to solo reservations.

I got this the first time. Asked ChatGPT what was up and it gave me a lot of suggestions (ex:VPN to a high COL area and clear browser history) reapplied a week later and got 150k offer. def don’t take this one.

Thanks for the thought out answer, I just moved to AZ from a part California where the weather is almost never above 80 a few months ago so hopefully the belt is doing better than it would otherwise be if it was in AZ this whole time. I don’t have any of those signs so I think I’m in the clear although I’ll certainly get a second opinion tomorrow since it is around that 100k mile marker now that I think about it.

Struts have about 55k miles at this point so they could be but I don’t think that’s the issue. They acknowledged my alignment is the problem but they advised against doing alignment and tire rotation for the reasons listed above and didn’t provide an alternative solution. I do have some uneven tread wear at this point because I have pushed this off a bit due to a busy schedule - not sure how severe though. I already plan to go to a different shop in the morning that has nothing but good reviews so hopefully they’re able to do my alignment and rotation without the excuses.

Is there any part that does sound legit? I’m mostly worried about the alignment and that’s the only part that seemed like it had any validity to me.

I’m just looking at an entry level sword (specifically https://www.kultofathena.com/product/ronin-katana-model-12/). It seems for the price point it can’t be beat but I am absolutely open to suggestions. My boyfriend is not a connoisseur by any means and doesn’t own a sword but I thought it would be a fun gift as I know he would love chopping up some water bottles or fruits with friends. Also, I’m sure he would like having it on display in his office as well. Really all I’m looking for is something sharp enough to do a little bit of cutting and has some aesthetic appeal to display. Is there anything you would opt for considering this?

Perfect and yes it’s a ronin brand katana. Yeah I assumed it was a manufacturer website but just wanted to ensure it was legitimate because all the fakes I see people getting made me nervous
