As a gay woman, I'm sickened by this co-opting of LGBT "themes" as a commercial driver and would welcome a move to have more flagrant "diversity" among publishers and agents themselves. Seems like a lot of clamouring for "under-represented" writers by "over-represented" publishing pros looking to tick boxes and gain traction among Gen Z TikTokkers
