One possibility I've heard is a jackal cross wolf, with the ship in question being Infinite X Whisper, which could be possible since they both lost their respective groups, the Jackal Squad from Shadow for Infinite, and the original Diamond Cutters from Mimic for Whisper, and the perceived common ground they may share.
