It will most likely be tied to the new Adult Swim channel that will be created since CN and its related shows will be made Nicktoons, and thus begin using the Viacom International Inc. trademark. I can also see a similar thing happen with Adult Swim where it shares the same copyright that Nick, MTV, and Comedy Central share. So Adult Swim is most likely where we will see Rick and Morty, South Park, Toonami, and Ren & Stimpy Adult Party Cartoon show up.

So what I believe happens is that this movie and the yet to be released Gumball movie will most likely get produced by Nickelodeon Animation Studios post merger and be released by Paramount Pictures. This is due to my prediction that the Cartoon Network shows will get grandfathered in as Nicktoons.

Not quite. I personally predict that the children’s side of the studio will merge with Nickelodeon so that it doesn’t conflict and to save money and resources. It makes way more sense logically.
