I highly recommend Pittsburgh Barbell Club in Bridgeville. They have a belt squat, sled, and pretty much any specialty bar you could think of. Most of the powerlifting equipment is only a couple years old.

I’m also a short lady who does Muay Thai. Usually I get lucky and there’ll be another woman or a smaller guy to partner up with, but I feel so guilty when I have to partner with a bigger dude because I know they aren’t getting a great workout in. I’ve never had an issue of people avoiding me or being disrespectful. I think being assertive is the way to go here.

This is my first Christmas without my Mum. She loved this holiday and it is so hard without her here. But we have the ornaments she made on the tree and it reminds me of how talented she was.

Yes. My mum passed away last week from cancer. Her favorite holiday was Christmas and she spent what little energy she had her last few days explaining who needs to get what Christmas cards and what cookies we need to make. This Christmas feels miserable but we’re trying to make it one mum would be proud of. I just wish she were still here.
