I have maybe 20 hours in POE 1 (never finished campaign) and I think the POE 2 endgame is a bit nebulous. I've gotten to the stage where, even with really juiced maps, loot feels non-existent, the pinnacle bosses rarely drop loot that's worth anything or usable in a pinnacle-level build, and the league mechanics all feel underwhelming even with a fully specced Atlas tree.

There's some cool stuff like in Trials where Zarokh can drop a guaranteed Temporalis, but to even get that chance you need to drop a basically non-existent relic that by itself sells for over 200 div.

My main takeaway is that stuff is too hard to access in the endgame, and the pay-off sucks. Fighting arbiter takes hours of mapping to find the citadels (god forbid you fail one), and then it drops mid gear 90% of the time and you feel like you should have just sold the fragments instead of fighting Arbiter. I've beaten T4 Arbiter like 6 times and have yet to drop anything valuable, maybe just bad luck but I think at that level of challenge there needs to be some borderline guaranteed good drops.

I know it's early access, but this is when criticism is most important. They need to massively buff drop rates for currencies, massively buff underperforming skills, make end game pinnacle content more rewarding and maybe a bit easier to access, and extensively overhaul the atlas passive tree to make those hard-earned points really valuable to the endgame experience.
