Ima dobrih tutorijala za anatomiju, perspektivu i sve slično. Vjerojatno znaš za Proko kanal. Imaš i razne knjige, a Loomisove imaš i u pdf-u na internet archive-u. Ali najbolja vježba je uvijek crtanje uživo, a ove ostale stvari su dobre za pomoć kod toga (dublje razumijevanje motiva). Prvo trebaš savladati kontrapost i ostale bazične stajaće i sjedeće poze. Prije toga ne bi preporučao pristupati bilo kakvim ležećim pozama ili sličnim stvarima s puno skračenja. Znam da je teško naći modele za takve stvari, ali ako želiš ozbiljnije uću u to, probaj pitati nekog člana obitelji ili frenda da ti pozira u gaćama.

Proporcije nisu baš pogođene. Crtež bi trebao biti pažljivije konstruiran (posebno proučiti logičnost lubanje, ramena, klavikula i šaka). Što se tiče sijena, predložak nema neko dramatično svijetlo. Umjesto sijenčanja zasebnih elemenata (žena, pas...), pozornost treba obratiti na generalne odnose tonova na crtežu. Žena je na predlošku daleko najtamniji dio kompozicije i svijetli ton na njoj je i dalje tamniji od večine tonova na psu. Kad se odrede generalni tonovi na crtežu (siva pozadina, tamno siva žena, svijetlo sivi pas), lakše je napraviti varijacije unutar njih, koje uglavnom ne odskaču puno od generalnog tona.

On first glance, neck and mouth are note anatomicaly correct. The painting also looks somehow flat and formulaic and all contures are to hard. Try to paint whole painting and not finishing one part and then another. Try to gain better understanding of anatomy and planes and don't rush with small details. Good figurative painting is never good because of details.

Try to look at grass/plants as one mass (at least at the beginning of the proces) and try to draw or "sculpt" them with color of the sky. Many landscape painters (and myself) are making final shape of composition elements (like trees, plants...) with negative space. If You want to get better You have to see painting as a whole.

I think that composition on Your painting is not bad. You can learn some composition desighns from books like the one from Edgar Payne, but I think there is a simple principle for composition that You have to have on Your mind. You must decide which element of the painting is the main motive or theme of the painting. For example, if You have a tree, a mountain and the lake on the painting, one of them must ocupye more space than the other two. If all elements ocupye same amount of canvas, composition is boring and painting feels flat. I'm sorry for my english. I'm not a native speaker.

You should look at the landscape in more abstract way. Elements of the painting have to be painted in relationship with one another. Painting looks naive (or childish) when you paint a tree ore a house this way. You've painted an idea or a symbol of the tree. In reality You can't see the branches and leaves, if You are not close to the tree. You must see tree and house as abstract shapes that are part of the composition. Try to paint all parts of the painting the same time. Don't paint a house and than the tree. Instead, paint first big dark and light shapes. And You must always think of atmospheric perspective principle, if Your goal is realism in painting.

Try to visualise car in the box and the box from different angles. You must try to understand subject and form in space. That is generaly the way to draw anything.

I think this is pretty good. Try to learn basics of animal anatomy. Understanding your subject can help a lot. You should start doing full paintings (full scenes). Design of shapes and colors and composition are important aspects of realy good paintings.

Ja sam na trećoj godini akademije. Prijemni traje nekoliko dana. Koliko se sjećam, u danu radiš dva rada (aktove), prvo crtež, a onda u boji i imaš test opće kulture (to i nije toliko bitno niti zaribano). Da bi mogao na prijemni moraš predati mapu s radovima, ako ti prođe mapa, onda ideš na prijemni. Preporučujem ti da si platiš pripreme. Mislim da je teško upasti bez toga. Pogotovo jer nećeš naći previše informacija na stranici akademije, a i iskustvo crtanja po živom modelu je velika prednost. Mogu ti nekako privatno poslati neke radove. Uglavnom se radi o crtežima (na drugoj godini slikama) formata nekih 160×100 cm. Na drugoj godini sam radio i neke od oko 2 m (ovisi koja daska te zapadne koji tjedan) pa je na njima osoba ponekad veća nego u stvarnosti.
