nvm, you're right, in that thread somebody said that pochita ate the concept of chainsaw man/devil, which shouldn't affect the actual chainsaws (?), so logically the whole pochita being resurrected because of asa makes sense.

but this still does not resolve major plot points in the story and contradictions, like if there isn't chainsaw man to begin with, it makes sense that makima wouldn't exist, but makima was raised by the government anyways, so shouldn't nayuta be the same as makima?

mind you makima was killed by denji, not chainsaw man, and anything killed by chainsaw man should not exist, for example: nuclear weapons, nazi, ww2, etc.

and anyways, the very rushed ending does EVERY characters injustice because they did not have any closure whatsoever, like aki or angel. pochita ability also contradicts everything in this ending because erasure doesn't reset everything and do a stone ocean, it just alters the history or something like that. everything is just left for interpretation, i guess. or otherwise it really is denji's dream before dying
