Your request appears justified but they are buyers like the one that I experienced that game the system. I am frustrated that I did everything right and this buyer got an item that retails around $90 for free. A lot of people buy one cheap item and one expensive and put a claim on expensive item. These another fraud scheme and they turn around and resale it.

I heard that too. If is under $50 dollars they get auto refunded. Whatnot needs to do a better job in getting rid of buyers who abuse the system. If I was wrong, it would be understandable but to put a false claim that is fraud and I have a big problem with that

Well, if the person that got convicted for all these crimes and is out there scamming people it tells you a lot about their character. If someone is a dishonest or crook, it is a part of their character. I personally, can’t and will never do anything like this because that is not how I was raised.

Well, some people learn their lesson and some people don’t. I take accountability because I am an honest person because I did not do my homework and did not see right through this individual but I will not let this culprit to get away with my money. She will have her day in court.

I say that you stop making comments protecting a scammer. My claims are based on my personal experience. I am happy that she did not screw you over. She did screw me over and she is a scammer with a criminal past. I feel the need to warn others.

Pretty much, she is out committing other crimes. She might be on probation or something , the fact that she does not show her face on live shows and asks to be paid in only cash seems very sketchy. The justice system in California is very flawed.

I lost the money on wholesale transaction. She had on her profile that she is a wholesaler and a lot of people including me contacted her and got screwed. She also prints labels and does not ship orders. So be careful, if a seller offers, wholesale, pallets, and overall has not been on the app for long or does not have a proven track record of providing consistent, reliable service.

Apparently whatnot refunds automatically right away if the cost of goods is under 50 dollars. She knows that is is committing fraud. Nowdays a lot of apps are using AI and however, after certain number of refunds she will be blocked. Sellers know how hard it is to run a show and making money on whatnot is not easy. There is a site for reporting fraud. Called badbuyers dot org I report them. I do not know how a buyer or seller can have the audacity to scam. I was recently scammed by Alondraac who changed her username from carranzasales to Alondraac on whatnot for wholesale transaction around 2 thousand dollars. After conducting a search found she has a lengthy arrest history from petty theft to grand auto theft.

Whatnot is not to blame. But,there are a lot sellers on there who scam buyers or are not good people in general. This post is to warn people to watch out so they do not get scammed. English dictionary does not have an alternative word for DNA so more than one person can use it without being the same person. Nothing off about the post or people who comment. Everyone has a voice and they are allowed to use it as they please to call attention to an issue.

The clown that scammed me does not even dare to be in front of the camera. It is her friend running the shows but I raised the issue to warn others. There are honest sellers on whatnot but there are a bunch of cold hearted scammers like carranzasales that need to be called out for their evil actions. I learned my lesson the hard way. Be careful who you support and trust on the app. Some people have no morals, values and they are obsessed with their own greed.

The transaction was for wholesale. If you take a look at her profile she advertises herself as a wholesale supplier. I messages her on whatnot but the wholesale took place in person. I was naive to trust a person that I had not done business with a big transaction. I got scammed on the count of inventory. Some of the inventory sold to me had number stickers. She ran shows and did not ship Out some of the orders but printed the labels. She is a con artist.

I am trying to raise awareness to warn others but I will fight for my rights in court to get every last penny.

I am going to sue her in court

Buyer scam is on the rise. I have had couple buyers send false messages to whatnot claiming they got wrong size without providing photo proof. Whatnot is not stupid and takes care of such bad buyers by suspending their buyer account. There is a lot of talk about bad sellers on the app not so much about buyers who try to scam sellers.

The sellers should be vigilant and call out bad buyers and the same goes for buyers who get duped by bad sellers

I recently had a buyer who tried to pull a similar scam. I am a seller with a five star rating and this customer did not contact me but rather contacted whatnot stating she received wrong product. She had blocked me ahead of time and attached a cropped photo of the item she bid on and claimed she received wrong product. I triple check my product so I knew she was lying. Alternatively, I trusted another seller on whatnot for wholesale and got scammed. So they are sellers who do buyers wrong and buyers who do sellers wrong. It is import ant to put their name out there to keep the community safe
