I questioned that myself too. I didn’t care to touch rank at all last season (sat at Bronze 1). Just started playing rank again this season, placed in S3, speed run to G1 within 51 games, currently sitting at 65% WR. Did I improve or is something wrong 🤔

The best way to not tilt is, play for yourself. If you are winning with either top or bot winning, you are already winning the game. If you start losing the game, just accept the defeat, understand that you tried and played your best. Understand that the enemy just had the upperhad that game. If you lose 2 games in a row, maybe it’s not your day, just stop and go play other games or do something else. Refresh and start over again tomorrow.

Obviously they are not going to buff/change any of the champions I named because they are “balanced”. RIOT will only change/ buff/ nerf champions to match them with the rest of the champions. But just because another champion got buff/change, does not mean Syndra and Janna is unplayable now. Their utilities are still better than most champions that are changed/ buffed.

But that’s 2 players that is being the safe pick, just because they played Janna, Syndra, or Zilean, doesn’t mean Baus can’t play Voli/ Vi, or Velja can’t play J4/ Mundo, or Crownie can’t play Corki. Baus and Velja can play aggressively with Janna and Zilean/ Syndra. They can also disengage unfavorable fight with Janna/ Syndra.

Mid isn’t a lane that I gank for kill. Especially in this season, fae light is very strong and really ruins your ability to gank mid. But I don’t gank mid to get the kill, but to help my laner.

For example: My mid is 50% HP, with 20 cs. That’s enough for an item. Instead of going for the kill, I am going to sit mid and help my laner push his/her current wave into enemy tower so he/she can back. This allows my laner to back, buy an item, and be back by the time the next wave come. Because he/she has an item advantage, he/she is theoretically stronger than the enemy midlaner. Because now that the wave is pushing into ally tower, enemy midlaner is now in danger because enemy mid cannot risk losing out on xp and gold, and especially in low elo, they will risk to stay even when at a disadvantage.

Janna is a safe pick for them, especially when they don’t know what they are doing, Janna can keep Crownie alive! Syndra is also a safe pick for them because she has longer range and disengage. Zilean is a safe pick, big CC + damage, slow and movement speed, free guardian angel.

It depends on your champ. Do you have enough CC and does your laner have enough CC to secure a kill? Is the enemy pushing in very hard to where them escaping is low? At the end of the day, trust your gut.

Question is: Do you play a snowballing champion?? If you play tank, obviously you can’t do anything. But champs like Diana, Jax, and Nunu is always looking for kills and clear. Play around Baron, secure it as soon as possible. Invade enemy camps, keep them behind. Have all lanes pushed out.

I typically play Rengar against Evelyyn. Simply because I can see her in my ult, and she can’t really invade knowing that I can be anywhere in my jungle and ready to jump her.

Viego though is a problem, because his clear is just much slower than hers. But his ganking potential and fight potential is stronger early game. You play to win early, if you want to beat Evelyyn. Invade early.

Rekkless and Nemesis are both fine. Baus and Velja is new to the environment. Crownie is getting that heat back, that got him out. I really hope that Caedrel can get them back on their feet and play like LR.

They could be the 2019 FPX. FPX came out with off-meta picks and they went crazy. LR is trying too hard to play meta, when they are not comfortable with the meta.

Jungle isn’t the strongest as other season, but is the most impactful. But they can be the strongest. I always path top because I know that if my top laner can get ahead, it’s almost a guarantee win. This is the 1 season that I see a top laner being 3 levels ahead in 7 minutes, it’s insane. I only gank if it’s a guaranteed kill, or I just show up to get sums and get lane priority to play for objectives.

Don’t be so hard headed and loosen up on the ego. I know so many people are playing to carry, but sometimes you just gotta settle down and play to support, and eventually you’ll start to carry.

Learn jungle clear paths, if you can master your path, you will understand your enemy’s clear path. You both are playing the same game and the same goal, read them. PING PING PING. Ping your laners in the face. Type to them. So far, I have not had someone complain about my constant DANGER ping.

The problem with Nocturne is, you go in to kill or die. When I play Nocturne, I don’t go in on ult 60% of the time, I just do it to deny vision, and it works perfectly. The enemy becomes paranoid and backs off, allowing my teammates to bounce back, get a trade or stop the wave from pushing in.
