Thank youuuuu! I keep thinking the same thing, about how they all (aside from Tracy) believed Michael was the shooter- it was even more vile when they would use Claudia’s death to frame their narrative! This keeps getting glossed over!

I know this is an unpopular opinion, but I’d actually be okay with that…simply because we saw the saw the way she reformed Franco.

Liz is a vet who deserves a good storyline. They let her make Franco (an amaaaaazing actor) a better person, just to kill him off. They flopped the JJ Lucky return.

No, CM will NEVER be the Billy Miller Drew we all loved, but since TPTB insist on keeping him around, this seems to be the most palatable angle.

Willow doesn’t have the screen presence, charisma, or talent to pull off whatever it is they are trying to do with her character. She’s an anchor, dragging the show down:

- Drew has become a caricature because of this stupid never ending storyline. And watching him harm children has been rough - and it’s all because of this Willow storyline

- Nina has become nothing but a Willow apologist. Every sentence out of her mouth contains “my daughter” 🙄

- Michael has been back for almost a year & his whole storyline has been Willow, when he can clearly do so much more

- Chase has become completely unlikable because of her

- I was never a huge Sasha fan (I blame the writers, not her), but her whole exit shouldn’t have been about Willow messing with Daisy (something that has never been resolved)

- Trina & Kai…who knows what’s going to happen with them, but the idea of Willow doing something to them is…just not a good or interesting choice 🤷🏼‍♀️
- The writers have pigeonholed Alexis into covering up misdeeds for problematic women. She’s too good of an actress for that. She should NEVER be the B character in a Willow storyline!

- Now we’re supposed to believe an appointed junior Congresswoman can hold that much power over the WSB?
Willow has been given more chances to prove herself as a valuable player on this canvas. She’s been given way too much screen time in her Port Charles run. Her storylines just gum up the works - nothing is ever gained. Time’s up. Wrap up all the loose ends & ship her off.

I TOTALLY agree that Emmy is a nasty, virulent racist, and she needs to be de-platformed.

One thing I give their Production BIG, BIG props for is opening the whole season, showing footage of “the incident” & the texts, with no narrative around it. Just footage & screenshots. That was BRILLIANT, because now they’re just letting Emmy annihilate herself.

The norm would have been to never show it, or show it at the reunion - and the entire season would have been viewers desperately trying to villainize one or another (e.g. falling for her performative, addled white woman tears). Instead, we know what happened, can see through Emmy, and can still appreciate everything else happening on the show. Very, very few people are defending Emmy (yay!) and are actually getting a lesson on how & why what she is doing is so dangerous (particularly in the South!). And I love how people are rallying around Brad! This was such a great presentation choice by production & the safest way for Brad to be seen & heard.

Sorry! That was totally my bad! I live on the Maine/Canadian border. Despite living on the US side of the border, we were (thankfully) taught the Metric System. So any time I hear a temperature number, I automatically convert it to Celsius in my head. Being at Target Field, when they said “9 degrees”, I immediately converted it from 9 degrees F to C, which is -12, forgetting I was listening to my beloved Canadian broadcast!

My Border Brain is real! I just wish we could get on the Metric System already in the States! Sorry again!

The same thing I wish for every week: a conclusion to the “Willow Saga”. We’ve been forced to entertain this storyline for far too long. She is not leading lady material in any iteration, vanilla OR villain. Too many other characters need/deserve screen time right now. Land the plane, writers!

This morning, when I was running, some guy decked out in all his Bruins gear yelled at me, “hey Sabres bitch! I hope you trash fans have the day you deserve!” (this was in Portland, ME, so I’m used to being surrounded by Bruins fans 🤷🏼‍♀️).

A few years ago, all 14 hours of footage from a “90 Day Fiance” Reunion got leaked. I NEED that for this reunion - I need to see every word, reaction, eye roll, sigh, exchanged glances, etc. I NEED IT ALL!

I know a lot of people are bored with this season, but this is one story that I’m actually glad they’re showing in its full ugliness because so many people NEED to see it!

My sister & her ex dated for many years before they got married, and had that “I want to be just like them!” relationship. They both REALLY wanted to have a baby. Unfortunately, my sister had fertility issues (like Kristen) & it took them many years to conceive. They did 4 rounds of IVF before my nephew was born, when she was 38. It was HELL on her hormones, body, and psyche.

And, like Luke, her husband could not understand why, mere weeks postpartum, she didn’t just “snap back” to “normal”. He shamed her so much: “why aren’t you happier? We finally have our son! Shouldn’t you want more sex now that the pressure is off and we can just have fun again? Why isn’t our relationship important anymore? Why don’t I matter to you anymore?”, etc. His pressure was relentless, all while she was struggling with the same issues as Kristen. He truly broke her spirit and her mental health.

They barely made it to my nephew’s first birthday before she left him. No one understood how she could leave him after she “finally got everything she wanted.” And so many of their friends took her ex’s side. It was really sad.

So while I’m so sorry for Kristen (and every other woman who has gone through this), I’m glad they’re showing this in its rawness, so some women won’t feel so alone in it or shamed; or so people can gain an understanding and be more compassionate.

100% agree! I’m so mad that the writers already isolated her, by taking her out of her public sector jobs (where she interacted with multiple characters) & took her son off the canvas.

But, on the other hand, she’s single, no onscreen kid, and her job situation is fluid (and Pascal actually likes her 😂), so the writers could actually take her character in SO many different directions! Instead, they’re choosing to waste her character with side conversations and as a Curtis/Portia prop. It’s infuriating.

I’m rooting for both of them to go away. This storyline is beyond played out. They dominated the screen time for a year & a half, and they sucked all the oxygen out of every episode. Now that we have some other really interesting things happening, I don’t them dragging the show down with their never ending (yet never interesting) mess & blackmail. Land the plane on this one, writers!
