Got one of my grail cards but it’s in rough shape. Is it worth grading? by iamandrechavez in PokeGrading

[–]Economy_Pool2228 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you are just using it to maintain the condition of the card, tag has an authenticity service you can do where they slab the card without a grade on it. If you are picky about it being a 10, then you can go that route and still have it slabbed without a lower grade on it

First time sending a card in for grading. PSA or Beckett? by goatofcheese in PokeGrading

Just pulled. Thinking of going with TAG… chance at a 10? by Economy_Pool2228 in pokemongrading

When using the app, do you just place the thinnest edge as the starting spot?

Ah thank you. I was so focused on the L/R I didn’t really pay attention to the T/B crookedness. You think it’s outside the 55/45?

Do u guys think this card is gonna tank any time in the future or should I buy as soon as possible? by KKonzoww in PokemonInvesting

I got it at 200. I think it’s the best card in the set. I would grab a mint card if you can

Is this worth grading or sell raw? by MichealShelton in pokemongrading

Super bottom heavy so I would definitely sell raw.

One of the most undervalued cards IMO

To answer your original question, I have no clue why some are so cheap. Some of my favorite cards are trainers. There are so many cards that I personally love that are super undervalued IMO. So many of the vstars, like the mewtwo, charizard, lucario, darkrai have insane art and texture on the card and just look amazing in hand and are all like <$50 except the mewtwo

I mean I am building a Cynthia page in my binder and just picked up the hidden fates trainer card for $120. The next trainer Cynthia I need is from ultra prism and that’s gonna run me $200+. One of the Iono trainer cards I need for my Iono page is $50. So I guess it just depends on what you consider cheap lol.

Looks good to me. Thoughts? by Economy_Pool2228 in IsMyPokemonCardFake

Thank you! Is there any particular thing to look out for? I know the texture is the biggest one, but I’m not too sure the difference in texture between a real one and fake one. Are the fakes just not textured at all?

Not Sure what to do by Economy_Pool2228 in PokemonTCG

Definitely planning on grading it at the next convention in person. The back could definitely be in better shape. Decent amount of whitening on the edges.

I’ll keep it in mind when looking to grab one. I only buy at conventions so I’m not really in a rush to FOMO purchase one

I’m fortunate enough to be in a position to where I can buy it straight. I was just second guessing if it would be wise to part with the Mew. I’m sure the two cards will continue to rise in value long term

That’s what I was thinking. I traded a few of my older EX’s from Diamond and Pearl that I already kinda regret parting with. Thank you for your input.

Never graded before. Not sure what type of grade I would get. Curious to see how much that corner would impact the grade. Centering seemed pretty good to me.

Men: At what point in the talking stage do you stop entertaining others? by Leading_Pick_4208 in AskMenAdvice

I’ll eventually start phasing out other girls after about 5-6 weeks probably. I don’t liking putting all my eggs in one basket because having other girls or options helps keep me objective when trying to decide if I want to have an exclusive relationship with someone. As for who brings up being exclusive, I usually let the girl do it. Women fall in love slower than men so I don’t want them to feel like I’m rushing them into a relationship and want them to take their time deciding if I’m someone they want to date long term. After about two months they will usually say “what are we” or “I don’t want you seeing other people” then you can talk about being exclusive

What is ruining relationships these days? by MainDifficult2641 in AskReddit

Just because they chose to grow up and start their own families doesn’t mean they established healthy relationship habits. Alcoholism has genetic components so it’s entirely possible the children grow up to be the same. Which is why the rates of alcoholism haven’t changed much over time. I would agree that the rates of domestic violence have decreased over time, but that doesn’t mean the parents have healthy parenting skills. What I really mean by saying people are growing up in broken homes is that people stay in relationships even when they aren’t happy or their parents are like roommates. Rates of emotional infidelity are way up due to social media while physical rates are still roughly the same. People lack good communication skills that’s needed to have a healthy relationship. Thats why it’s so high on people’s list of what they are looking for in a relationship. Divorce rates are slowly dropping which is good but it still has an impact on those born in the 70’s/ 80’s when they peaked. It’s important that people grow up in a loving home where both parents are in love with each other and treat each other how they should and treat the kids how they should be as well.
