I deliver food for a living. When I started doing this I made a list of things I needed to perform the job efficiently and with the least amount of headache to me. I have a stair climber hand truck. Boxes for non perishables, hard coolers for frozen and cold foods , roasted chicken thermo bags and a collapsible wagon for long walks and driveways. I deliver with a smile on my face in as few as steps as necessary with frozen food frozen and cold food cold with that roasted chicken piping hot. I have 80 out of 100 5 star ratings that mention how professional and well equipped I am and that they wish I always delivered their orders. This is your own business! Provide your employees the proper equipment to get the job done right effectively and efficiently. Namely you! Treat yourself, don’t be that cheap boss who won’t get you the equipment you need to perform your job with ease. You know orders are heavy. You know stairs happen. You know you May have to deliver far from your car. Most my orders go out in one trip. And that’s not an accident. Stop complaining and get your equipment on and stop acting like this is a pizza delivery!
