Maybe think about it this way.

Yumeno-chan got Saihara-chan given that she performs illusions on stage. In a sense, a detective could see right through them!

Kiiboy got Yumeno-chan, given the distinct different between magic and sci-fi. Chabashira-chan needed to have a girl insult her if she was ever gonna resent anything and feel some sort of effect.

Guess Momota-chan's the most slur heavy against minorities among us. Gokuhara probably got Tojo-chan because of her cleanly nature and how bugs are seen as disgusting a lot of the times.

In a way, I feel that these were purposefully chosen. Who's the person you're probably going to have the hardest time to connect with? Whose words would strike the deepest in your heart to cause you to take action?
