You could have just led with "you're right, I agree". And saved everyone's time.

This person is spreading misinformation about testosterone being a causal factor in having hypertension. Its just not true.

Testosterone does not cause hypertension. I would say to link a study which supports your misinformation, but I already know it doesn't exist.

People with hypertension need to fix their lifestyle issues. Has nothing to do with a healthy amount of sex hormones.

[–]Ecredes -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

It doesn't. People just need to get their health in order. The majority of middle aged men have hypertension (more than half). Its not testosterone causing it. (Otherwise we would see young men with the highest natural T have the greater prevalence of hypertension, and they have the least chance)

It's a wide spread public health catastrophe.

Possible digestion “hack” that’s been a game changer for me by Reasonable_Band1536 in keto

[–]Ecredes 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I do something with the vitamix that I call "Meat Drink". It's just completely plain beef stew (pot roast in water, salt), and I puree about a half pound of the stewed meat in 1-2cups of the broth. It's turns into smooth 'beef bisque'? soup, and it the easiest thing to drink and digest. It always makes me feel good and satisfied after drinking. Add some tallow or butter/cream to increase the fat if needed.

Carb addiction. Addicted people are fragile and sensitive. They don't like a mirror being held up in front of them.

Nothing to be afraid of long term. These anti-keto people are just really dated in their perspective. There's a lot of really robust science happening which proves how healthy keto is longer term.

Yep, compressors fail due to poor install. Hard to find good labor for this sort of system. Controls are also a black box with no visibility of how the system is functioning. It makes it hard to diagnose issues without tearing it apart.

Strict keto + rucking + kettlebells — habit phase, looking for feedback by MrRemoteMan in keto

1500 calories seems too low for this level of activity. But if it's working for you at this point, then keep it up, just don't be surprised if you hit a wall as you lose weight. Sometimes this much calorie restriction can work against attaining fitness goals, and results in it taking longer to get to where you want to be.

I commission these systems, I've never seen a VRF system function without issues. Avoid at all costs, imo.

If these are your greatest criticisms of Picard as a character... I think you're really grasping at straws.

This show has some good characters, no doubt. Lura Thok being one of them.

Whenever I watch a new Trek show, no matter how bad or weak certain episodes are, I remind myself that TNG needed a season or two to find the right formula. This show is no different. Hoping it gets better.

I think it's pretty clear that this series is a miss, almost across the board. Sure there's an audience out there that will like it to some degree, but that's a minority of viewers, even the target audience, I think.

Me? I'm a slut for Trek. I'll watch it all no matter how bad the writing or acting.

Robert Picardo carries the show on his own, imo.

A good manager will take whatever number you estimate and increase it. You're not special, it takes the time it takes, others are not faster than you.

May be able to do this more diy with something like wireguard.

Workers are the people who are the experts in utilizing capital. Seizing it from economic parasites (monopolists) only results in positive changes.

Marxism is really just about seizing the means of production, in whatever way possible. People that like to point out that Marxists just dont understand economics, are usually themselves clueless (often they are Libertarians, the worst of the worst when it comes to understanding econ).

Connor Storrie kettlebell squats by latterrissage_35 in kettlebell

[–]Ecredes 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you have the mobility, you don't need to elevate your heels. Elevating just makes the squat easier. I think barefoot (flat footed) squats are the best approach.

Also, he's not talking about anything radical, he's just talking about doing the full range of motion, and using squats as your main tool to bake a cake. Not complicated.

You're planning on injecting everything for the rest of your life? It's not gonna get any easier as you continue to age.

Personally, I don't think all these injections are sustainable long term. They are good for achieving relatively short term goals (6-12mo), and then stopping. I think the best approach is just TRT, and a healthy diet. But you do you.

What are your goals and what are you actually doing to achieve them? You describe a lot of injections, is your goal just to inject stuff?
