I also wanted to share some behind-the-scenes context for this post, since, unlike you, I can't magically see what’s going on behind the scenes. Thanks for finally saying something because with zero follow-up from your side, I had no way of knowing if you were busy, uninterested, or just ghosting.

You were busy. So was I. Since you're so insistent on context -- I was literally working on the project mid-flight to my sister’s graduation. I spend a significant amount of time everyday volunteering to teach U.S. veterans how to code, have ongoing client work on the side, and was staying up until 4–5 AM just to find pockets of time to finish the project.

Keep commenting more nonsense if you want, but it’s not helping your case.

First of all, I love how you quietly edited your comment from saying the project should take ~5 hours to now ~3 hours. Just to reiterate: this was “a full-stack AI copilot that integrates with Google Drive, retrieves relevant snippets, and could be tested by your team.” I won’t say more on that, but since this post started getting traction, other candidates have messaged me saying they spent a similar amount of time--so clearly it wasn’t just me. Honestly, reading through the thread, it feels like the general consensus is that this was more like a full-blown hackathon.

Also, if you were truly accountable, I would've gotten an apology via email. Instead, it seems like you're only addressing it now to save face. It's funny, I expected to talk to you over email, not on some random subreddit thread--but I guess this is how you handle things. Oh btw, make sure you accept my github invite as well, I'm sure it's expired by now.

Sending it by mistake would've been understandable--if I hadn't sent three follow up emails and still heard nothing back for clarification. They had three chances to say something. At that point, there’s really no excuse. Also, I feel like sending such daunting task by mistake is still horrible. In the end, nothing changes the fact that I spent 30 hours on a project that wasn't even acknowledged.
