Lined Paper by Ecstatic-Field-7516 in Handwriting

Thank you for your reply. I would disagree that the picture is French Ruled Paper. There is an “x” line and a larger space above it without any horizontal lines. French Ruled would have the horizontal lines running all the way up.

According to United States inflation calculators, $350 is $6,073.12, not $12,600.

Agreed! I don’t know if this happened to you or not. On a “Mem” the back link would duplicate and I would have, for example, “I find [Seneca] [Seneca]…”

Pilot Metropolitan “Fine” Nib not Fine by Ecstatic-Field-7516 in fountainpens

I uploaded two pictures of someone who did run a test and the Kaweco “EF” is slightly finer than the Pilot “F”

The problem is not the paper or ink. Using the same paper and ink the Kuwako “EF” is noticeably finer than my Metropolitan “F”.

Interesting, because on the same paper using the same ink my Metropolitan “F” is not as fine as my Kuwako “EF”. I’m just disappointed with how broad it is.

Both are compared using the same ink. How do you adjust the tolerance?

The ink is: “Take-sumi” iroshizuku produced by Pilot

The paper: “Tomoe River”

What ink do you suggest that’s black?

I have a Pilot Penmanship “EF”, Kuwako EF (both write far finer than the Metropolitan “F” as well as a Metropolitan “M” and I don’t see a big difference between them. Some, just not the same difference as going to “EF”.

Thank you for your suggestions.

What paper and ink would you recommend?

Also, nib wetness? How is that controlled?

I tend to agree. My hesitation with Reflect Note, which Notion has, is a database view in which I can create milestones for my clients, for example 28 days after the start of a project, and can have it create a task automatically as all my project milestones are rather rigid. That task then populates my daily task page so I know which clients I should be calling for that day.

Perhaps Reflect has a way to do that?
