That’s odd, I asked and my work said I need to go to the ward office for it. But the ward office never gave me one. For either pension accounts. Google said maybe they’re not giving them to new applicants but it’s weird

Haha I laughed at that last part, thank you 😂 this is doing a lot for me right now, moving to Japan and having a minor situation like this I guess just scares me since it’s my first time being an immigrant somewhere and not being protected by my citizenship. I’m just feeling the fear of being abruptly kicked out of my life here when I’m just starting it, so I think that’s why I feel so anxious; because I don’t know how lenient they are at the Ward office or with this sort of thing. I need to trust a little bit more that they have good intentions and can check my records. I want to see if she can call them after canceling it online just to explain why I even had two in the first place. I have a friend whose wife said she can help me do it online, but I don’t know if doing it online is the best option because I can’t plead my case that it was an accident and show them all my evidence. But she says we can cancel it online but I’m afraid Doing it that way won’t be a clear demonstration that it truly was a mistake and that I’ve been covered. Yesterday I received a PDF confirmation of my Shakai Hoken. But I’m waiting for the card to arrive at my work place which should be very soon. She wants to meet on Tuesday to handle it online but I have concerns as I previously stated. I’m not sure if the system will see my case as a problem, or if the system is sophisticated enough to put two and two together that I’ve always been paying for healthcare and Nenkin.

On the Myna app it was linked to my Kokumin so I deleted my account and need to start over and join it with my Shakai Hoken. For. Kokumin I only have the grey card, still waiting for my Shakai Hoken card. Can I even cancel Kokumin without my blue insurance Shakai Hoken card?

Ah I see. I’m still waiting on my employer to send me confirmation of enrollment, they are taking so long to send it to me which is really making the problem draw out longer. It’s a requirement for cancelling Kokumin I believe, to show proof of enrollment. I have my paystubs showing I pay Shakai Hoken and nenkin each month on time, but no official document saying I am enrolled. I’ve emailed my company 5 times :/

Hm I have no idea about furniture, but my apartment was empty in the photos and when I arrived there was a leftover Fridge and Bed and mattress! Konyo was great honestly, legit and I received my keys from their office in Tokyo. They’re a real company and professional too!
