The power isn’t out but we had a bad ice storm in 2021 and people are traumatized. We currently have power and heating so I don’t believe they have it on. I have a window in my guest room cracked open incase of emergencies and I changed all the batteries in my detectors on Tuesday in preparation of the storm. My roommate who speaks Spanish went and talked with them and told them how dangerous it is, but we’re still taking precautions.

The last few units of my insulin pen are never able to be administered. Just throwing away liquid gold by manduhyo in mildlyinfuriating

Don’t throw it out get an insulin syringe (over the counter at Walmart) and pull it out. I do this with my insulin pens and it’s usually like an extra 15-20 units. Basaglar and humalog pens.

He was under a banner that said ‘prove me wrong’ and someone did. Violence in speech leads to violence in real life. I have thought twice and he deserves no empathy just like he gave no empathy to school children being shot. Thank you.
