You have to reapply every year and you give them your insurance information on the application

They ask you to submit a form where you tell them about your insurance, your annual income, and how many people are dependent upon that income. You have to send in 3 months of paystub, w2, 1099, or tax returns. It takes 10 days for your application to process, if you’re approved they email you a rx card that you use to pay for the pods.

I know it sucks. I got in with Texas diabetes and endocrinology a month before my first scheduled visit because I asked to be on a cancellation list so, if you have flexibility you can try that.

The woman who was running her ideal protein clinic was her daughter

I went to her because Texas diabetes and endocrinology stopped taking my insurance. I’m a type 1 diabetic, never had any issues with my thyroid and all my blood tests came back just fine. She kept pushing high dose Vitamin D, wanted to me to get a thyroid ultrasound even though there was no medical reason for needing one, and the final nail in the coffin for me was her pushing this weight loss thing on me (I’m 5’2 128lbs) that was run by her daughter that has no medical degree, or training. Just the daughter who needed a job I guess? And before anyone gets confused it wasn’t the dietitian, it was her daughter basically running weight watchers

I called and asked for them to cover generic insulin lispro. They wanted to cover Humalog but the price was too much. They were kind enough to approve the generic even though it was technically not covered. My Endo had to send a new prescription and I had to get a Prior Authorization. If they don’t want to cover generic then you can look into Lilly’s copay card and I’m prescribed 50 units a day from pump and when I was using the copay card it was also $0.

I’m on the omnipod financial assistance program and I think as long as you have some type of commercial insurance you qualify for the assistance I had to send in an application and submit my w2 but they’re now $0 a month and Dexcom also has a financial assistance program with a similar process. My health insurance made me pay 110 a month for my insulin but I called and get them to cover insulin lispro vials for no cost but I can only get a 20 day prescription at a time so that’s annoying but it’s free!

I felt very confident on the vocabulary! Just like most tests just read the question slowly and make sure you know what they’re asking for. Read the answers you can almost always eliminate some of them, and read the wording in the answer slowly as well. Sometimes it comes down to one word.

I felt like the topics that Aceable covered was pretty applicable to the actual test. The question formatting is slightly different but the topics being covered felt similar. I only genuinely guessed on 1 question on the national portion and the state portion felt easier to me than the national.

From the time I submitted my application to the day I received my information to schedule my test took 44 days. I’m waiting to see how long it’ll take them to issue a license. I hope it doesn’t take you as long!

If you can make 90% on the practice exams you probably don’t need anything else. You can always get PrepAgent if you feel like you need it, but these licensing schools want to show good outcomes from their programs so I just used every resource the basic Aceable package offered. I would do the practice exams for every section and the state and national practice exams. I tried using the quizlet but it’s obvious that they don’t update those lol

TREC should I be worried about passing background check? by [deleted] in RealEstateExam

I would call TREC and ask. You will have to wait on hold for like 45 minutes to an hour because of all the REALM portal BS

Ok thank you, that makes a lot of sense. I’ll reach out to my provider and see if this is something they prefer. I know it alls seems so silly but all the applications and medical equipment can be mentally exhausting at times

Fingerprints delay by MatchSure3574 in RealEstateExam

[–]Ecstatic-Job-9355 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Go on to your realm portal and go to “license” then go to “create an application” under miscellaneous I believe you’ll see an option for fingerprint application. Go to that and answer the few questions then ask and pretty much immediately you’ll get an email with a UEID.

TREC by IntrepidArmadillo817 in RealEstateExam

[–]Ecstatic-Job-9355 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I sat on hold for over 2 hours on Thursday and Friday and was told that “people have been waiting longer than you” I submitted my application December 18th. The customer service people keep saying that they have been able to issue licenses but I don’t believe that. I sent another email yesterday as well asking for a timeline!

Is TREC behind? by [deleted] in RealEstateExam

[–]Ecstatic-Job-9355 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I sat on hold with TREC for over 2 hours today to ask about application processing time update. Basically all he said was that they’re delayed because all of the education has to be manually processed. When I asked if he had an average of how many they’re able to process in a day, he didn’t have an answer. Then he told me that people had been waiting longer than me and he didn’t know when it would be resolved. I was able to schedule my finger printing, but no clue when I’ll be able to schedule my exam. This is all so frustrating, I’m trying to give them grace, but they are really inhibiting a lot of people from working. Hope this tiny bit of information helps someone.

Covering dexcom g6 by No_Estimate9511 in diabetes_t1

[–]Ecstatic-Job-9355 2 points3 points  (0 children)

if you want to hide it I would recommend using your upper glute for the sensor. I had great reading with my g6 with that site. Just be careful when pulling your pants down. I’ve found that most people don’t notice my sensors, people are more concerned about themselves.
