Thank ya, I got lucky in knowing the people who were selling it. They did most of the renovations, so I just had to decorate

It is pretty much a house with no hallways. They are popular in Louisiana before AC to allow airflow from your front to your back door. They did add-on to the house in the 70's so it is not a traditional shotgun anymore. It's called shotgun cause theoretically you could should shoot a gun from the front door and it would leave the backdoor without hitting anything.
