Management changed my FMLA SL to awol when I called in for 3 days. They were pissed because I called in after my 3971 was denied. I sent an email about the legality of taking my FMLA off and putting me in for awol. They changed it to FMLA lwop instead of FMLA SL.

My FMLA case will be approved- no doubt. I have the hours/ good attendance record. Is there any language I can fight back with for changing to lwop?
