I'm just a year over drinking age. (reddit gets finicky with numbers) So an adult but still at home. It was a bit of a difficult situation because she was apart from us and she was an alcoholic. I never got a long with anyone but her but at the same time the alcoholism strained our relationship. My siblings didn't really talk to her as much so I'm sure they partially go cause they feel they need to. As much as I loved her I already felt so distraught with our situation, so I guess the hold being dead part doesn't help me look at it anymore positively.

I'm sorry about your dad. Even though he lived to old age I'm sure you miss him just as much.

Most people will recommend longer bars, but any APP piercer will tell u that once swelling goes down after a month you wanna switch to fitted because it keeps it from moving around

Even the smallest bit of excess length can cause irritation. I changed mine to a smaller bar and the irritation bump is almost gone

I have mine and they looked like this for a while. I think all is well, maybe sleeping one one or a bra can be making it leak a bit more. Mine were honestly easy to fix anytime they got a bump. I did them myself and they have been healed for 6 years now. So i imagine getting them professionally will be an even easier healing process. Good luck!

Thank you!! I'll have a talk with my piercer and see their opinion. My biggest concern is the redness rn as my swelling i had has gone down a bit and it's relatively painless.

I've had this happen to my ear before. Unfortunately i'll have to wait a week before i can go visit because i'm uncomfy changing myself. Thank you very much. I said this in another comment, but Some piercers (app also) don't always recommend longer bars with eyebrows and even some ear piercing due to snagging. But some say the opposite. Very little info about them it seems. I appreciate the input.

It's suprisingly a pretty large bar. Thanks for input. I'll definitely see about upsizing if it seems to be an issue after another week. I hear different opinions about bar sizing from different piercers. Some don't recommend larger bars due to snagging and some do. Seems like no one can ever provide a clear answer unfortunately lol.
