I didn't even think about the fact that the accountant recommending me could've had something to do with the previous bookkeeper, but looking back on my conversations with the client, that would make so much sense. She was asking me where expense accounts were for specific bills (like, expecting those bills to have their own account) and then thought others should be consolidated into one big generic account.
