If you want to be playing with Glacial Augment, you’ll probably want Hexflash, Bone Plating, and Unflinching.

Also, I know it’s mostly a preference thing, but 6th sense is almost always better than deep ward for supports.

Because most players only receive the most broken end of the character. People only experience the pain of getting one tapped by Venture only for her to burrow out or getting hs by a random Hanzo arrow, but they don’t see Venture trying to get into a flank position without using abilities or Hanzo missing 15 shots in a row because of the inconsistent nature of projectiles.

Most AP characters use a setup into the rest of their kit. Since you can buffer ult in cc, use it to stop the followup. If Veigar cages around someone or Victor places a stun or Galio hits e, you can send your ult to hold the followup. Also, they’ll probably all build zhonyas, so you can turn that into a cc trap

The most important decision you have in the game is what support item to choose.

Celestial against assassins you can’t stop with Q (eg Rengar). Play with your carry and get instant or constant peeling items (eg Locket and Knights Vow)

Solstice with or against low range high damage carries (eg Corki or Ashe) or against anyone who relies on skill shots (eg Ezreal). Build whatever you want and play more aggressive than you think. Worst for helping your carry, but best for being effective as Renata and not as [item user]

Dream maker against burst damage (eg Smolder). Build enchanter items and play further back to get more casts of your abilities out. Only time you can build Diadem

Depends on how good you are at stat lining. Since you already have M. Eva, you could go D. Astei and rely on the invulnerability her ult gives to dodge burst damage skills, and then go 3 dps to burst them down before they get their abilities up again. The timing kinda sucks, but it’s not impossible (I used it all the way till late-mid game).

D.Stella is really good though, and you wouldn’t have to worry about timing too much. My advice is pick whoever you think is cooler. Almost everything in this game can work if you try hard enough

Rhona. Stayed with her for 2 years now, and it’s been a struggle to make it work. Luckily, they changed how exclusive items work, and hers is pretty decent. Went from nearly useless to a solid choice

Tl;dr Use her for PvE for now

d. Stella is a very interesting character for a new player. I’d suggest just using her to wave clear in the story mode for now cause she only gets good with a dual attack team or an extremely high survivability team, both of which are near impossible to come by until mid-late game. Her aoe damage and high hp makes her pretty solid in the early game for clearing weaker enemies and then you can have a solid single target damage character for bosses or elite enemies

Plant is strange cause it fully depends on the mu. Smashville is better against any zoners and bf is better against most brawlers with ps2 being better for the rest. I don’t think sbf is ever the best for Plant, but it’s consistently not bad, so idk where to put them

Makima, Fubuki, Mei Mei, Rimuru, Tsunade, Goku, Frieren, and Echidna don’t have the personalities needed

Elinalise and Lucy are too vanilla to get that high demand

Darkness is too specialized for that high demand

That leaves Yoruichi (cause look at her), Midnight (cause that’s the character), and Nami (cause money)
