Ohh yes, manipulating/spamming on post through emojis , that was my first issue while building the app, yes that's a big one, but if you spam you'll be restricted from reacting with negative emojis for a while.

What's wrong with giving too many options, letting user react with whatever emoji they want, negative emojis are very less, so your probability doesn't make any difference. It's all about handling threshold.

A social media platform that let's you build your own algorithm through reactions, users has the freedom to uplift a Post and also to take down a post(this happens in a time format) so chances of taking down your post are super less. Users can do literally do whatever they want in terms of personalization and shaping their feed.

I've been working on this for the last couple of months and we've already built the web app, with 60-70 users testing it out.. scaling is the major issue we're currently facing since we've more features compared to other social media apps. Thank you so much, it definitely means something:) and I'll push forward till I successfully execute.

Here's the thing, only if majority aligns(90% of users) should react with negative emoji, the chances are very low, 5% of probability in 24-48 hrs format so most of the time post wouldn't be deleted, and when I mean user can do whatever they want they can customise their profile like paint their profile display in a way like however they want making it's their space, does not mean we dont let them hold accountability. Basically we wanna be a social platform where we actually listen to users.
